Border 2 Overseas Review: Sunny Deol is all over the news these days and rightfully so. After winning hearts with Jaat last year, Sunny Deol is now making waves in the industry with his new release which is coming with a dose of nostalgia. We are talking about Border 2 which is a sequel to the 1997 Border. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is set against the backdrop of India-Pakistan war of 1971 and is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J. P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta.

Featuring Sunny Deol in the role of Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler, Border 2 also features an interesting ensemble of cast including Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana and Anya Singh. Interestingly, Border 2 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and comes with a major dose of nostalgia as the makers have revived the songs like 'Ghar Kab Aaoge' and 'Jaate Hue Lamhon'. As per a viral tweet on the micro-blogging site Twitter from a user based in Pakistan and UAE, Border 2 is sheer nostalgia. The tweet read as, "A Forceful sequel, which lacked in Visuals, Emotions & Story. but still, it's a good watch entertaining movie because of (Second part, Nostalgia & Ha+e watching) factors". Interestingly, Border 2 got a rating of 3.5 stars. On the other hand, a London based self proclaimed critic gave Border 2 a rating of 1.5 stars.
