Biker Movie Review: What's Good, What's Bad In Sharwanand's Telugu Film?

Sharwanand's new Telugu movie Biker has hit the screens on Friday. Written & Directed by Abhilash Reddy, it has Malvika Nair in the female lead.

The movie, which is funded by UV Creations, has the music of Ghibran Vaibodha, J Yuvraj's cinematography and Anil Pasala's editing. While Raju Sundaram, Shekar VJ and Visshwa Raghu have done dance choreography, Dhilip Subbarayan has directed the action sequences.

The Telugu movie has managed to create quite a good pre-release buzz with its promotion materials and the trailer. The fans of Sharwanand are now looking forward to see whether Biker will live up to the viewers' expectations.

Venky Reviews: #Biker An okayish sports drama that is technically strong and has moments of promise, but ends up feeling lengthy and too generic.

Starts dull and picks up only near the pre-interval. The second half is better in parts but suffers from pacing issues. The bike racing sequences are shot well, with strong production values.

Predictable from start to finish, which is expected for the genre, but the emotions and drama land only in bits and feel mostly bland. The villain and corporate tracks are boring.

It is an honest attempt that falls short of its potential, ending up as an average watchable film with lowered expectations.

Visuals and music play a crucial role in a racing film, emerging as its biggest STRENGTHS, especially during the climax.
@ImSharwanand delivers a SOLID PERFORMANCE, impressing with his SWAG as a RIDER with a LION'S HEART, while Rajasekhar is equally effective. The PRE INTERVAL and CLIMAX sequences are particularly well EXECUTED.
The emotional moments could have been stronger, but they work within the father son dynamic presented. Overall, a very good film.
