Want To Contribute To Kerala Landslide Relief? Here's How You Can Donate To CM Relief Fund Online
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has appealed to the public to contribute to the CM's Relief Fund following the tragic landslide in Wayanad, which has claimed at least 280 lives so far.
In response to the devastation, the CM announced that his council of ministers would donate their one-month salary to the relief fund. The disaster has left a trail of destruction, and there is an urgent need for aid.

Prominent contributors to the fund include Adani Group Chairperson Gautam Adani, Lulu Group Chairman MK Yusuf Ali, Dubai-based businessman Ravi Pillai, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Tamil actor Vikram, and the Dalai Lama Trust.
In his appeal, the CM stated:
"Kerala is grappling with the devastation caused by multiple landslides and flash floods, which have claimed over 100 lives, injured many more, and destroyed human habitats in several areas, including Mundakkai, Wayanad, on July 30, 2024. Now, sustained and coordinated efforts are essential to compensate for the loss of lives and livelihoods, rehabilitate the displaced, and rebuild their homes. You can support the recovery of those affected by natural disasters by generously contributing to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF)."
