Caught on Camera: Drunk policeman creates scene in Kanpur

Kanpur, July 14: In a massive embarrassment to the Uttar Pradesh Police Department, a video of a drunk cop creating scene on the road has gone viral on Thursday, July 14 on social media.

The cop was in an inebriated state and was seen falling several times on the road. The video was captured by passerbys on the road.

In the video, the cop was seen wandering around and refusing public's help. Just after he refused help from others, he is seen falling down twice on the road following which people who were nearby noted his badge number and his name.

The law breaker has been now been identified as Ram Kumar Singh. In the video, people are seen pointing out at him and scolding him for being in such a state while donning his uniform.

The video is a major embarrassment for the UP Police, who have often been criticised for lawlessness in the state.
