Suhas Shetty Murder: Accused Partied Days Before His Murder At Kalasa Resort, Probe Into Financial Trail
In the ongoing investigation into the tragic murder of Hindu activist Suhas Shetty, new revelations have surfaced that the accused partied at a resort in Kalasa, Chikkamagaluru, just days before the brutal attack. The police are now examining the possibility of foreign funding being involved in orchestrating the murder.

Suspicious Pre-Murder Celebrations
Sources close to the investigation revealed that the main accused, Safwan, and his accomplices had attended a lavish party at a resort in Kalasa on April 2, just before the murder of Suhas Shetty. The party, which included the key suspects-Mujammil, Niyaz, and Ranjith-has raised questions regarding the motives behind the celebration. Some investigators believe that the gathering was held to finalise plans for the murder.
It has been reported that the accused engaged in a campfire session while discussing their plot. Adding to the suspicion is the fact that five other unidentified individuals were also present at the party, further suggesting that there were many parties involved in the planning stages of the murder.
Financial Backing and Foreign Connections
As the investigation progresses, there is growing suspicion that foreign funding may have played a significant role in facilitating the murder. It has been revealed that Fazil's brother Supari had financially supported the assassination, raising concerns over the possibility of overseas money being funneled into the plot.
Authorities have started investigating various bank accounts, focusing on the possibility that money might have been transferred from abroad to fund the crime. Sources indicate that many unseen hands may have been involved in orchestrating Suhas Shetty's murder, and the police are meticulously examining all leads.
The Plot and Execution of the Murder
The plot to kill Suhas Shetty was reportedly hatched three months before the incident. In January, Fazil, whose brother was killed in retaliation for the murder of Praveen Nettaru, allegedly gave Rs 3 lakh to Safwan's group to execute the plan. The money was used to arrange the necessary logistics, including a pick-up vehicle and a Swift car for the execution of the murder. In fact, a 'Plan B' was reportedly in place in case Suhas Shetty managed to escape.
For the next 15 days, Safwan and his team carefully monitored Shetty's movements. Ranjith and Nagaraj, from Kalasa, stayed with Safwan during this time to observe Suhas. The key informant, Azharuddin, tipped off Safwan about Suhas's location and his travel plans. Shortly after the murder, Azharuddin fled the scene and is currently a fugitive.
Accused's Plans and Partying Prior to the Murder
The accused had reportedly planned the murder meticulously. Before carrying out the crime, Safwan's group is said to have held several meetings to finalize the details of the attack. Their gathering at Kalasa was likely part of this planning process. While the party was meant to prepare the final blueprint, it also served as a way to hide the true intentions behind their socialising.
The arrest of the three main accused has brought further attention to their connections and possible overseas backing. The police are currently working on tracking down the remaining individuals involved in this sinister plot and are leaving no stone unturned in their investigation.
The investigation into Suhas Shetty's murder continues to reveal more shocking details. With the involvement of foreign funding, a meticulously planned execution, and a party before the murder, the case is taking on even more complex dimensions. Authorities are actively working to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy and bring justice to Suhas Shetty and his grieving family.
The police have also confirmed that they are working with international authorities to track the potential overseas financial connections that could have fueled this senseless violence. As the investigation moves forward, the authorities are hopeful that more details will emerge, helping them piece together the full story behind this horrific murder.
