Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2027 action plan to use 98 lakh public suggestions, set sector targets

Officials said MSMEs contributed about 46 per cent to the state’s manufacturing GVA. To pull in investment, agreements worth more than Rs 50 lakh crore were signed, with many underway.
Adityanath said knowledge and innovation should be strengthened through digital infrastructure. Adityanath also backed the start-up ecosystem and skill development. The meeting noted Uttar Pradesh had about 24 crore people. This created a large consumer market and a strong working-age base for growth.

Adityanath asked departments to draft department-wise and inter-sectoral plans. These plans had to match quarterly and annual targets. Responsibilities, expected outcomes and coordination systems had to be stated clearly. Adityanath also said the state vision must be executed down to districts, cities and panchayats.
Adityanath directed that District Vision 2047 should be prepared for local needs. Plans were to reflect local resources and priorities. Adityanath also asked for a pipeline of major projects. Continuous monitoring was to be ensured. Officials said urbanisation could cross 60 per cent by 2047, boosting economic activity.
Adityanath said governance and infrastructure were central to the plan. Adityanath asked for strong law and order and better digital services. Adityanath also sought better connectivity through expressways, airports, logistics and industrial corridors. Adityanath said this would support investment flows and job creation.
Adityanath said the framework of a Developed UP rested on three pillars. These were Arthashakti wealth power, Janshakti people power and Jeevanshakti life power. Adityanath said agriculture, industry, services, infrastructure, the social sector and good governance must advance together. Adityanath said this approach supported inclusive progress.
Adityanath said Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2047 treated social justice and quality of life as key goals. Adityanath asked officials to keep the vision participatory and action-led. The statement said the document should guide the state’s development journey. It should also help Uttar Pradesh take a leading role in the goal of Viksit Bharat.
