Bose shared the update in a long post on X, along with a copy of the resignation letter. \"My innings in West Bengal is coming to a close. I am deeply indebted to the great people of Bengal for the affection and regards lavished on me,\" Bose wrote. Bose also thanked President Droupadi Murmu, PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Bose described the shift as a duty and a sign of thanks to Kerala. \"I take this new mission as my solemn duty and as a gesture of gratitude to the people of Keralam, who, I would say, brought me up. I will work for the people, with the people, alongside the people,\" Bose said.

West Bengal Governor change after CV Ananda Bose resignation

Bose also spoke about the next Governor of West Bengal. \"I also extend my best wishes to Shri RN Ravi, my very dear friend and distinguished public administrator, who will be my illustrious successor,\" Bose said. RN Ravi, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, will replace Bose as the Governor of West Bengal.

The post ended with a final line from Bose. \"Tomorrow to fresh woods and pastures anew,\" Bose wrote. The message came as Bose prepared to leave the Raj Bhavan role. The statement did not give any timeline for the Kerala work or further steps.
