Mahua Moitra-Prashant Kishor Chat Leaked? Are The Viral Pics Real Or Fake?

In the last few days, social media (especially Twitter aka X) was flooded with the screenshots, what claim to be alleged chat leaks of TMC leader Mahua Moitra and Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) chief Prashant Kishor.

The pictures had gone viral and became a hot topic of debate on social media sites. This forced the TMC leader to take legal action against those who are spreading the rumours.

On February 4, the TMC MP filed First Information Reports (FIRs) against multiple social media accounts on X, accusing them of circulating fabricated and sexually suggestive content in her name.

In a strongly worded post, Moitra warned that those responsible would face criminal consequences under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Addressing Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri indirectly, she alleged political motivation behind the posts and stated that spreading fake sexual content would not go unpunished.

She later shared screenshots of several X handles against whom FIRs had been registered, reiterating that any individual reposting or commenting on the alleged chats would also face legal action. Moitra made it clear that the police would summon those involved and that she had no intention of offering further commentary on what she described as entirely fabricated material.
