Kiccha Sudeep's Mark is ready to hit the OTT platform in less than one month after hitting the screens. The movie was released on 25 December 2025 to a huge hype.

The film had minted Rs 10.15 crore on the opening. The core fanbase had spoken, flooding theatres across Karnataka. The headline was written: "Sudeep Storm Arrives."

But by the evening of Day 2, the storm showed signs of weakening. The box office reports, with their cold, precise numbers, told a disquieting story. The collection had plummeted to ₹3.75 crore. It wasn't a dip; it was a cliff. The pattern held through the weekend-respectable in Karnataka, but everywhere else, the map remained terrifyingly blank.

The movie did not fare well in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and the Rest of India. The ₹0.05 crore from Tamil Nadu on Day 1 felt less like an entry and more like a statistical ghost.

The chatter shifted from the film's plot to its performance. Theatres, packed on Thursday, had echoing empty seats by Monday. The Week 1 total, ₹27.3 crore, was a figure that would be a triumph for a smaller film, but for a pan-Indian Sudeep spectacle, it was a verdict. The attempt at a second wind on the second Thursday, with a slight bump to ₹2.25 crore, was a brief, final sputter. By the second Friday, it was clear: Mark had missed its target.

In the following weeks, the business dwindled to a faint trickle, estimated to have added a mere ₹5 crore to the final tally. The grand total settled around ₹35 crore.

Now, as the film is prepared for its OTT release, the narrative has changed. The "huge hype" of its theatrical launch is a footnote.
