Tamil Nadu TET Results Out: Guidelines How To Check Your TET Results Online

The Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB) has released the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TN TET) 2025 results on its official website, trb.tn.gov.in. Along with the results, the board has also published the final answer key for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

According to official information, the qualifying marks for candidates from reserved categories applying for teaching positions in Classes 1 to 8 have been reduced by five per cent. This decision is expected to benefit a large number of aspirants across the state.

TN TET Eligibility Certificate and Exam Frequency

The TN TET eligibility certificate will be available for download from February 2 on the TRB website. Following a Supreme Court directive that made TET qualification compulsory for in-service teachers working in government and government-aided schools, the Tamil Nadu government has decided to conduct the TN TET exam three times every year.

Earlier, the state education department had stated that this rule could affect over 3.28 lakh teachers who have more than five years of service, along with nearly 67,000 teachers who are close to retirement.

How to Download TN TET 2025 Scorecard

Candidates can check and download their TN TET scorecard by following these steps:
Visit the official TRB website and click on the TN TET Paper 1 or Paper 2 scorecard link
Enter your User ID and password on the login page

Access the dashboard

Download and save the result or scorecard
Exam Dates and Qualifying Marks

TN TET Paper 1 was conducted on November 15, while Paper 2 was held on November 16 in OMR mode. The provisional answer key was released on November 25, and candidates were allowed to submit objections until December 3.

The final results have been prepared based on the minimum qualifying marks fixed by the board. Candidates from the general category needed 90 marks to pass. Those from backward classes and persons with disabilities required 75 marks, while candidates from SC, ST and SC(A) categories needed 60 marks to qualify.

Candidates can also download the final answer key for the master question paper, which includes 150 questions, along with their detailed mark list by logging into their TRB dashboard.
