Paris Paralympics: Archer Sheetal Devi Hits Bullseye, Gets Rapturous Applause | WATCH
At just 17, Sheetal Devi has become a beacon of inspiration in the world of para archery. She is nothing like you've ever seen before.
Born without arms, Sheetal has developed a unique and innovative technique that has allowed her to compete at the highest level. Using her right leg to lift the bow, her right shoulder to draw the string, and the strength of her jaw to release the arrow, Sheetal's method is nothing short of extraordinary.

Her skill and grace in executing this complex maneuver have captured the admiration of fans and fellow competitors alike.
She received a standing ovation when she confidently hit the bullseye on her first attempt, a moment that highlighted her incredible journey and determination.
Sheetal's performance in the ranking round was equally impressive, where she secured second place, missing a world para archery record by just one point.
However, despite her strong start, Sheetal's Paralympic campaign ended in heartbreak during the Women's Individual Compound Open 1/8 Elimination match.
Facing Chile's Mariana Zuniga in a tense and closely-fought contest, Sheetal displayed exceptional skill and tenacity, but ultimately, Zuniga edged her out by the narrowest of margins, winning 138-137.
Sheetal began the match with a commanding performance, scoring two consecutive 10s and following up with a 9, taking an early lead.
Zuniga, though formidable, managed only 28 points in the first end, giving Sheetal a slight advantage. However, the tide began to turn in the second end when a 7 from Sheetal allowed Zuniga to catch up.
The match continued as a thrilling back-and-forth, with both archers matching each other almost point for point. By the third end, the scores were tied at 82-82, setting the stage for a nail-biting finish.
In the fourth end, Zuniga ramped up the pressure with two 10s and a 9, but Sheetal remained resilient, keeping the scores level heading into the final three arrows.
In a tense climax, the match was decided by the smallest of margins.
A score of 8 on Sheetal's final arrow allowed Zuniga to pull ahead with a 9, securing her victory and ending Sheetal's journey at the Paralympics.
Despite the loss, Sheetal Devi's performance in Paris has solidified her reputation as a rising star in para archery.
