In a heated London derby on Sunday, Crystal Palace and West Ham played to a 1-1 draw in the Premier League. The match, held at the London Stadium, saw both teams battle it out for a share of the points.
First Half Dominance by West Ham
West Ham started the match brightly and took the lead in the 13th minute through Mohammed Kudus. The Ghanaian forward made no mistake after running into the box to meet Vadimír Coufalls cut-back, giving the home side a 1-0 advantage.
Missed Opportunities for Palace
Crystal Palace responded well to the setback and created several chances of their own. However, they were unable to convert their opportunities, with Odsonne Édouard missing a glorious chance to equalize early in the second half.
Édouard Makes Amends
Édouard made amends for his earlier miss in the 53rd minute when he intercepted a poorly judged back pass by Konstantinos Mavropanos and scored. The goal brought Palace level and gave them a share of the points.
Moyes Nearing Unwanted Record
The 1-1 draw keeps West Ham manager David Moyes one defeat away from equaling Harry Redknapps record of 238 Premier League losses. The Hammers remain ninth in the table on 21 points, while Palace stays 12th with 16 points, nine points above the relegation zone.

While West Ham started brightly and took the lead, Palace showed resilience to come back and earn a point. The result leaves both teams in mid-table, with West Ham looking to avoid an unwanted record and Palace looking to build on their recent form.
