As the IPL 2026 auction draws near, reports of Sanju Samson's potential move from Rajasthan Royals (RR) to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have created a stir among fans and analysts. Though no official confirmation has been issued, early talks are believed to have taken place between both franchises.

According to IPL regulations, any such transfer will require both CSK and RR to submit a formal expression of interest to the IPL Governing Council, specifying the three players involved in the potential deal.

Sanju Samson's Legacy with Rajasthan Royals

Sanju Samson has been the face of Rajasthan Royals for over a decade. Having joined the franchise in 2013, he was retained the following year at just 19. After RR's temporary suspension in 2016-17, Samson rejoined the team in 2018 and took over as captain in 2021.
