Virat Kohli Anushka Sharma Celebrate New Year In Sydney, Video Goes Viral
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen celebrating New Year's Eve in Sydney. They were joined by Indian cricketers Devdutt Padikkal and Prasidh Krishna. The group was spotted enjoying the festivities ahead of India's final Test against Australia at the SCG, which starts on Friday.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were dressed in black colour outfits and were walking holding each others hand. The celebrity couple who recently welcomed a baby boy in their family, were setting perfect couple goals.

Reacting to Virat and Anushka's latest video, fans poured love in the comment section of the video and praised both of them for complimenting each other perfectly.
Kohli's 2024 season was disappointing across all formats. His batting averages were 24.52 in Tests, 19.33 in ODIs, and 18 in T20Is. He retired from T20I cricket after leading India to victory in the T20 World Cup 2024 held in the West Indies.
Test Career Comparisons
The Boxing Day Test loss to Australia has sparked discussions about Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's Test careers. Both have faced criticism for their recent performances. However, former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar believes Kohli deserves more patience due to his stature as a modern-day Test great.
"There's no comparison between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as Test batters. Virat is in a league of his own-a great Test batter. Rohit is a good Test batter, but his legacy lies in white-ball cricket. Virat deserves a longer rope," Manjrekar stated on Star Sports.
Kohli's Achievements
Kohli's Test career includes 122 matches with 9,207 runs and 30 centuries. He is India's most successful Test captain, having led the team to historic overseas series wins, including victories in Australia.
In contrast, Rohit has played 67 Tests, scoring 4,302 runs. Despite some remarkable innings, his Test achievements are overshadowed by his success in white-ball formats.
Rohit's Recent Struggles
Rohit's recent form as a Test batter and captain has been concerning. In the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, he has scored only 31 runs across five innings at an average of 6.20 - the lowest for a visiting skipper in an Australian series.
The Boxing Day Test added to his woes as he was dismissed for just nine runs off 40 balls while chasing 340 on the final day. Since September, he has managed only 164 Test runs at an average slightly above ten.
While Kohli's credentials provide some protection from criticism, Rohit's recent performances have intensified scrutiny on him and highlighted challenges facing Indian cricket.
