Pakistan T20 Franchise Sparks Controversy With 'Disrespectful' Rohit Sharma Video

A video shared by Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans has sparked outrage on social media, with fans calling it "shameful" and "inappropriate." The clip features the PSL mascot introducing the league's 2025 trophy while using an old voiceover from Indian captain Rohit Sharma's press conference after India's 2017 ICC Champions Trophy victory.

The video quickly went viral, drawing severe backlash from Indian cricket fans, who accused the franchise of mocking Rohit Sharma. Many took to social media to express their disappointment, criticizing the act as disrespectful and unnecessary. The controversy erupted just days after former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg faced criticism for mocking Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan over his English skills.
