New Zealand's Star Cricketer Martin Guptill Bids Adieu To Sport

New Zealand star Martin Guptill has officially announced his retirement from international cricket. His last appearance for the BlackCaps was in 2022. Over his career, he played 47 Tests, 198 ODIs, and 122 T20Is for New Zealand, amassing 2,586, 7,346, and 3,531 runs respectively across these formats.

Guptill's international career includes scoring 23 centuries. Notably, he is the only New Zealander to score a double century in ODIs. He achieved this feat with an unbeaten 237 against the West Indies during the 2015 World Cup. Despite his numerous accomplishments, Indian fans remember him for a crucial run-out of MS Dhoni in the 2019 World Cup semifinal.
