IPL 2025 Schedule: Indian Premier League Match Fixture, Venues, Dates Announced
The eagerly anticipated IPL 2025 schedule has been unveiled, marking the commencement of another thrilling cricket season. The opening clash will see Kolkata Knight Riders take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Kolkata's Eden Gardens on March 22. As the tournament progresses, cricket enthusiasts will be treated to a total of 74 matches, culminating in a grand finale on May 25 at the champion team's home venue of 2024. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has meticulously organized these matches across an impressive lineup of 13 venues nationwide.
This year's IPL is not just about the cricket; it's about the venues too. Beyond the home cities of the ten competing teams, matches will also light up the stadiums in Visakhapatnam, Guwahati, and Dharamsala. The BCCI has strategically planned for Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings, and Rajasthan Royals to host some of their home games in these cities, diversifying the tournament's landscape.
