Ind vs NZ: Anushka Sharma's Reaction To Shreyas Iyer's Catch Drop Goes Viral

Cricket fans were quick to highlight Anushka Sharma's reaction to Shreyas Iyer's missed catch with memes. Today, at the Dubai International Stadium, Team India is taking on New Zealand in the Champions Trophy final. Shreyas Iyer's dropped catch was a pivotal moment. A video of Anushka Sharma's disappointing reaction went viral in no time.

Rachin Ravindra, who was batting well at that time, benefited from the drop. However, Shreyas Iyer didn't have to worry for long as Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Ravindra with his first ball in the final.

India Gains Advantage

Kuldeep Yadav bowled a googly from over the wicket that deceived Ravindra. The left-hander misjudged the turn while on the back foot, and the ball spun sharply past his inside edge to hit the stumps. Ravindra scored a solid 37 off 29 balls before departing, leaving New Zealand at 69/2 after 10.1 overs.

Earlier in the innings, Will Young and Rachin Ravindra had formed a 50-run partnership at a brisk pace. In just 6.6 overs, Young hit a pull shot for four off Mohammed Shami's short delivery between mid-wicket and mid-on. New Zealand had started strong after winning the toss and choosing to bat first.

Key Wickets Fall

New Zealand lost three important wickets within 14 overs in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final against India. Rachin Ravindra provided early momentum with his quick 37 off 29 balls, hitting four boundaries and a six before being bowled by Kuldeep Yadav.

Will Young struggled to accelerate his innings and was trapped lbw by Varun Chakravarthy after scoring 15 off 23 balls. Kane Williamson managed only 11 off 14 balls before being caught and bowled by Kuldeep Yadav.

Daryl Mitchell (8 off 17) and Tom Latham (1 off 1) are currently at the crease, aiming to rebuild New Zealand's innings and push their score forward. India's bowlers have been dominant so far, with Kuldeep Yadav taking two wickets and Varun Chakravarthy striking early.
