Hardik Pandya Surpasses Shikhar Dhawan, Bags This T20 Record
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who impressed everyone with an outstanding performance in both the departments, batting and bowling, in the 4th T20i played against England at Pune's MCA Stadium, has achieved a new milestone. With the help of a blitzkrieg half-century, Hardik Pandya surpassed Shikhar Dhawan to become India's fifth-highest run-scorer in T20 Internationals.
In the Pune match, he smashed 53 runs off just 30 balls, laced with 4 fours and 4 sixes.

Hardik Pandya, who was only 10 runs away from achieving the record, now has 1803 runs in 89 T20I innings, which scored at a powerful strike rate of 141.63. He has five half-centuries in T20s against his name.
Additionally, he became the first Indian to score over 1500 runs and take more than 50 wickets in T20Is. With this achievement, Pandya joined an elite group of Shakib Al Hasan, Sikandar Raza, and Mohammad Nabi.
India Vs England T20i Series:
In the 5-match series, India won the first two games at Kolkata and Chennai, before facing a defeat at Rajkot stadium. But in the Pune game, Suryakumar Yadav and men bounced back and clinched a victory by 15 runs to lock the series by 3-1. One more game is still to be played at Mumbai's Wankhede stadium, where Englishmen will try to end the series on a respectable note.
