Abusing Sanatana Dharma Bound To Have It’s Consequences: Ex-Cricketer Venkatesh Prasad Trolls Congress

Former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad has trolled the Congress party after it suffered a humiliating defeat in three states out of four states - Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.

Prasad indicated that it was a result of abusing Sanatana Dharma. Congress' ally DMK had criticised Sanatana Dharma comparing it with diseases such as Dengue and Corona, triggering a major controversy.

"Abusing Sanatana Dharma was bound to have it's consequences .Many congratulations to the BJP for a landslide victory. Just another testimony of the amazing leadership of Prime Minister @narendramodiji & @AmitShah & great work by the party cadre at grassroot levels #ElectionResults," he said on X.

With the BJP heading towards victory in three out of the four states that went to polls recently, the party will now be in power in 12 states on its own, while the Congress, the second-largest national party, will come down to three after losing Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. The Aam Aadmi Party, with its government in Delhi and Punjab, is third among national parties.

The BJP is heading for a landslide victory in Madhya Pradesh as the party is leading in 167 seats. In Rajasthan, the saffron party is predicted to bag 116 seats while leading in 54 out of 90 seats in Chhattisgarh.
