Patna Road Accident: Speeding Truck Rams Into Auto-Rickshaw, 7 Dead, Many Injured

Seven people lost their lives and many got injured in a tragic road accident in Bihar's Patna on Sunday when a truck collided with an auto-rickshaw. According to the reports, the accident took place on the Masaudhi-Naubatpur road at Noor Bazar, approximately 35 km from Patna.

The collision occurred around 9:30 PM when the truck hit the auto-rickshaw with such force that it overturned. Following this, the truck also lost control and toppled onto the auto. The scene was chaotic with screams echoing throughout.

Immediate Aftermath of the Collision

At least a dozen individuals were travelling in the auto-rickshaw, returning home after their work as labourers. The impact was so severe that seven people died instantly, crushed within the vehicle. The police arrived promptly to investigate the situation.

According to authorities, five others sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment. The collision caused widespread panic in the area as residents grappled with the aftermath of this devastating event.

Response from Authorities

Upon receiving information about the accident, police officers reached the site to begin their investigation. They confirmed that seven individuals had perished in this unfortunate incident while five were injured.

The injured victims have been admitted to local hospitals where they are undergoing necessary treatments. The community remains in shock as they process the tragic loss of lives due to this accident.
