Telangana Cabinet expansion :- Dr Mynampally Rohith set for cabinet birth

Dr. Mynampally Rohith, the young MLA from Medak, is poised to join the state cabinet in the upcoming expansion, according to AICC sources. Known for his dedication to public service and effective governance, his inclusion comes as no surprise.

Rohith, the son of veteran politician Mynampally Hanumanth Rao, carries a strong political legacy. His father has held various roles, including MLA, MLC, and district president for both Greater Hyderabad and Medak. This political background has shaped Rohith's own commitment to serving his constituents.

As a first-time MLA, Rohith has already made significant progress in Medak. He was instrumental in securing a long-awaited medical college for the area and has worked to improve local infrastructure, such as developing an underground drainage system and enhancing road networks in Medak Municipality. His focus on healthcare and education is also evident in his efforts to upgrade the facilities at the Medak Government Hospital.

Despite being the only Congress MLA among the seven MLAs in the Medak parliamentary constituency, Rohith won his seat against strong opposition from the then-ruling BRS party. He and his father left the BRS to join Congress, energizing the party's cadre and boosting morale in the state.

Beyond his legislative work, Rohith has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service through the Mynampally Social Service Organization. His proactive governance and dedication to the people of Medak make him a deserving candidate for a cabinet position.

Rahul Gandhi has been promoting young leaders across the country, and Rohith, as the youngest MLA, has earned his support. Rohith also has the backing of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who shares a longstanding connection with Rohith's father from their days in the Telugu Desam Party. Additionally, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, who was impressed by Rohith during his campaign visit to Medak, is reportedly advocating for his inclusion in the cabinet.

The cabinet expansion is expected before Diwali, and Rohith's entry would be a recognition of his hard work and promise as a leader. His appointment aligns with the Congress party's vision of empowering youth, signaling a bright future for both Rohith and the party.
