Ashok Singh Jaunapuria on the hardships of the real estate world
Real estate is one of the biggest markets in the country, and a cosmic number of people are involved in it. We know that films have made the real estate business seem like a fancy affair, but reality shows a different picture. Ashok Singh Jaunapuria, who has been a part of the real estate world for over two decades, gets candid on the challenges that he has faced as a developer.
He says that there are many barriers that may restrict your venture into this field. The first thing is cutthroat competition. "There are numerous national and international, established and growing, decades-long and day-long real estate companies out there. Survival is the only way out of this clutter. Highlight your unique points and use them effectively to pitch your plan to your target audience," says Ashok Singh Jaunapuria.

This is only one; there are dozens of others. Taking to which he further adds, "Not choosing the right site is yet another challenge. A developer should always pick a site that suits its target market. Accessibility, competition, environmental risks, applicable fees, design requirements, and others are a few things a developer must keep in mind before selecting the site."
Ashok Singh Jaunapuria then talks about technology and innovation. We all know how drastically this has changed the world around us. "Today, the generation is tech-savvy, and therefore, we too need to stay updated with the changing technology. Now, adapting to these changes and walking hand in hand with innovation is not always possible; however, it still can be achieved," says Ashok Singh Jaunapuria.
Apart from these aforementioned problems, there are many, many other things that a real estate developer and his venture encounter. Being in this realm for over a decade, Ashok Singh Jaunapuria has taken his business to new heights. He is the Managing Director and CEO of SS Group, Gurugram, which has led the construction of buildings like The Hibiscus, SS Plaza, Southend, Aaron Ville, The Lilac, etc.
Not only has he assembled great buildings and built a good residential area, but he was also awarded by CNBC for the Hibiscus project against DLF Magnolias. We hope that Ashok Singh Jaunapuria keeps guiding us with his experiences.
