UPSC Aspirants Demand Justice, Claim Cover-Up In Coaching Centre Deaths
Karol Bagh and Old Rajender Nagar witnessed massive protests on Monday, with students holding placards and raising slogans demanding justice and accountability from authorities. Heated exchanges occurred between police and protesters several times, and the Rapid Action Force was deployed in riot gear throughout the day.
Protesting students told OneIndia the authorities of a cover-up in the tragic deaths of three UPSC aspirants at a coaching centre. Protests demand justice and accountability, alleging systemic infrastructure failures.

Abhishek Dubey, a student from Jharkhand, said, "If the government doesn't react to this protest, students will encircle Parliament."
Guru Muhilan, another UPSC aspirant, said, "Several issues and demands, like the number of casualties, should be clear, as two students are still missing."
What began as a sit-in demonstration turned into a full-fledged protest, with the crowd, estimated at over 400, spilling into the streets.
Students blocked the main road at the metro station, prompting police to use mild force to remove them. Several students were taken away in buses and released later.
The protesters included UPSC aspirants, alumni of Rau's IAS Study Circle, and others facing various problems while living in the locality. Their demands included desilting and cleaning sewage lines. They raised slogans of "We want justice" and displayed placards that read "We want investigation," "Ensure safety," and "Long live students' unity."
