Fresh Bomb Threats Shake Delhi: British School, Modern School, Sanskriti School Receive Emails

Fresh bomb threats rattled three prominent schools in New Delhi on Thursday morning, marking the second such scare in just three days. Alarming emails sent to The British School in Chanakyapuri, Modern School on Barakhamba Road, and Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri triggered immediate and extensive security checks across all campuses.

Officials said that bomb disposal squads, dog squads, and fire department personnel were rushed to the schools as soon as the threat messages were reported. While searches continued through the morning, police confirmed that nothing suspicious had been discovered so far.

"A bomb threat email was received at Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri, this morning. Nothing suspicious was found following the search operation. Police personnel present at the school," the Delhi Police stated.

This latest incident comes close on the heels of a similar wave of threats earlier in the week. On Tuesday, four district courts and two CRPF-run schools in the national capital received bomb threat alerts, after an unidentified caller informed the Police Control Room (PCR) that explosives had been planted at those locations.

The repeated threats over the past three days have heightened security concerns across Delhi, prompting rigorous checks and increased vigilance in schools and other public institutions.
