Delhi Weather Forecast: IMD Predicts Heavy Rain In The Coming Days; Check Weather In Delhi For June 28

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts moderate rain in Delhi today, with the minimum temperature expected to settle at 28 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature hovering around 37 degrees Celsius. The weather is also predicted to include a thunderstorm accompanied by gusty winds with speeds ranging from 25 to 35 kilometres per hour.

Delhi and other parts of North India have been enduring a severe heatwave, with the capital recording nine heatwave days in June so far. This is a stark contrast to June of the previous two years, 2023 and 2022, which saw no heatwave days. However, the city's weather has recently undergone a significant change due to the effect of a western disturbance. This meteorological phenomenon has resulted in a drop in the maximum temperature, bringing some respite from the scorching heat.
