The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) has released a report detailing the academic qualifications of the candidates for the February 5 election.
The report provides insight into the diverse academic backgrounds of the 699 candidates, highlighting a broad spectrum of education levels in the race for office.
Out of the 699 candidates, 324 (46%) declared that their education is between Class 5 and Class 12, indicating basic schooling.
Among the 322 candidates with higher education, 126 are graduates, 84 hold professional degrees, and 104 have postgraduate qualifications. Additionally, eight candidates have doctorate degrees.
