Pahalgam Terror Attack: Mumbai’s Leading Hospitals Announce Free Medical Help For Victims; Names Inside

Several leading hospitals in Mumbai, including Lilavati Hospital and the Reliance Foundation's Sir HN Hospital, have announced that they will provide free medical treatment to those injured in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, according to a Times Now report. The tragic incident took place in the Baisaran area, a few kilometres away from Pahalgam, on Tuesday, April 22.

The attack, which involved open firing, caused serious injuries to many people and led to several deaths. Among those who lost their lives, six were from Maharashtra. The attack has shocked people across the country and has been widely condemned.

On Thursday, Mukesh Ambani, Chairperson of Reliance Industries Limited, shared that Sir HN Hospital, managed by the Reliance Foundation, will treat all the injured completely free of charge. He expressed his deep sorrow over the loss of lives and wished a quick recovery to those who are injured.

He said, "Everyone in the Reliance family is mourning the loss of innocent lives in this terrible attack. Terrorism is the enemy of humanity, and we must not allow it to grow in any way. We fully support our Prime Minister, the Indian government, and the whole nation in the fight against terrorism."

Lilavati Hospital also came forward to help. In a statement, the hospital said it was deeply saddened by the violent incident and promised free medical care for those who were hurt. The hospital also offered support to families who lost a loved one in the attack.

Rajesh Mehta, a permanent trustee of Lilavati Hospital, said, "In this hour of national grief, we stand in unwavering solidarity with our fellow citizens, the Indian Army, and the Government of India. As part of our commitment to serve humanity, we are offering free medical treatment to those injured in this attack and to individuals who have lost a family member."

He added, "We at Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre are deeply shocked and saddened by the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. On behalf of our entire board, under the guidance of Charuben Mehta, our Founder and Permanent Trustee for Life, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families."

The kind offers from these hospitals have brought some relief to the affected families during this painful time. Many people have praised the move and welcomed the gesture of solidarity and support.
