MVA Announces Maharashtra Seat Sharing: Shiv Sena To Contest 21 Seats, Congress And NCP Share Plan
The elections in Maharashtra will see Shiv Sena's Uddhav faction contesting on 21 seats, with NCP SCP and Congress contesting on 10 and 17 seats, respectively.
In the seat-sharing pact, the Congress did not secure the Sangli, Mumbai South Central, or Bhiwandi seats.

MVA Announces Maharashtra Seat Sharing
At a joint press conference attended by Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, it was announced by Sharad Pawar of the NCP (SP) that there are no remaining differences on any seat. The seat sharing was declared after mutual agreement, stated Sharad Pawar.
The list of Shiv Sena (UBT) seats includes Jalgaon, Parbhani, Nashik, Palghar, Kalyan, Thane, Raigad, Maval, Osmanabad, Aurangabad, Ratnagiri, Buldhana, Hatkanangale, Shirdi, Sangli, Hingoli, Yavatmal-Washim, Mumbai North West, Mumbai South Central, Mumbai South, and Mumbai North East.
The list of Congress seats comprises Nandurbar, Dhule, Akola, Amravati, Nagpur, Bhandara-Gondia, Gadchiroli-Chimur, Chandrapur, Nanded, Jalna, Pune, Latur, Solapur, Kolhapur, Ramtek, Mumbai North, and Mumbai North Central.
The NCP seats include Baramati, Shirur, Satara, Bhiwandi, Dindori, Madha, Raver, Wardha, Ahmednagar, and Beed.
It was mentioned by Uddhav Thackeray that there is no harm in expecting something, but the seat sharing has been finalized based on specific criteria and with the aim of winning the seats.
Nana Patole of the Congress stated that the party is working to end the "dictatorial regime" and emphasized the need for party workers to accept decisions with a big heart. He expressed confidence that party workers would strive to secure victory for MVA candidates and claimed that votes of all three parties would be transferred to each other, as reported by Hindustan Times.
While speaking on seat sharing, the Congress leader stated that efforts will be made by party workers to ensure the election of MVA candidates. Nana Patole, who was present at the press conference, claimed that votes would also be exchanged among the three parties due to the presence of the original Shiv Sena and NCP.
The importance of saving the Constitution and democracy was emphasized by him. The alliance, according to Uddhav Thackeray, wanted Prakash Ambedkar to join them. The former Maharashtra chief minister stated that not a single word would be uttered against him, even if he spoke against them, as they respected him.
Uddhav Thackeray alleged that the BJP is using government machinery to harass the Opposition and to accommodate all the corrupt leaders in the BJP, as reported by Hindustan Times.
The BJP was described by him as an extortionist party that used power to collect funds through election bonds. It was stated by him that he prevented the Shiv Sena from being shifted to Gujarat by Narendra Modi and his party. He claimed that the speech delivered yesterday was not by the prime minister but by the leader of the Bhrashta Janata Party, which he alleged was an extortionist party.
The Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was described by Uddhav Thackeray as "Vasuli Sena."
