IMD Issues Thunderstorm Warning For Mumbai, Yellow Alert Across Maharashtra For Rain And Gusty Winds
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai is expected to experience a partly cloudy sky today, with a possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorms. The maximum temperature is forecasted to be around 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will likely be 25 degrees Celsius.
For those near the coast, the tide timings are as follows, according to Tide-Forecast.com:

High tides: 10:44 AM at 4.37 metres and 11:22 PM at 4.58 metres.
Low tides: 4:35 AM at 0.92 metres and 4:58 PM at 0.32 metres.
The sun will rise at 6:33 AM and set at 6:14 PM.

The weather in Mumbai over the next few days is expected to remain partly cloudy with occasional rain or thunderstorms. Here is the forecast for the upcoming days:
October 17: The temperature will range between 25 and 35 degrees Celsius. The sky will be partly cloudy, with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers expected.
October 18: Temperatures will vary between 26 and 35 degrees Celsius. The weather will remain partly cloudy with the possibility of a few rain showers or thundershowers.
October 19: The day will see temperatures between 26 and 34 degrees Celsius, with partly cloudy skies and a chance of rain or thundershowers.
October 20: Temperatures are expected to range from 26 to 33 degrees Celsius. There may be some rain or a thunderstorm, along with partly cloudy skies.
October 21: The temperature will drop slightly, ranging from 26 to 32 degrees Celsius. Partly cloudy skies with the possibility of rain or thunderstorms are forecast.
Maharashtra Weather Update
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for the following regions in Maharashtra due to thunderstorms and other weather conditions:
The regions of Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Ahmednagar, Pune, Kolhapur, Satara, Nanded, Latur, and Osmanabad are under a yellow alert due to expected thunderstorms. These areas may experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 kilometres per hour in isolated places.
A heavy rainfall alert has been issued for Sangli and Sholapur, where thunderstorms with lightning, heavy rainfall, and gusty winds are expected in certain areas.
In Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, and Yavatmal, isolated places may also experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning.
