Hindi Actor Sharad Kapoor Accused Of Sexual Harassment, FIR Filed

A complaint has been filed with the Mumbai police against Sharad Kapoor, a well-known actor recognized for his roles in movies such as 'Josh' and 'Lakshya', accusing him of inappropriate behaviour and sexual harassment. The actor allegedly made unwelcome advances towards a 32-year-old woman, including forcibly touching her. The incident came to light when the woman, who had initially connected with Kapoor through Facebook, reported that after exchanging messages and a video call discussing work, she was invited to what she believed was his office. According to her statement, upon arrival, she was directed to Kapoor's bedroom by an unidentified man. Later, she received a WhatsApp message from Kapoor that contained offensive language.

The victim's decision to share her experience with a friend led to the formal registration of the complaint at the Khar police station. These accusations, if proven, could severely damage his reputation and career in the film industry.
