Henan Mining Crane Co., Ltd, a crane manufacturing company, organised a grand event where employees were given an unusual challenge-grab as much cash as they could within 15 minutes.

A video of the event, first shared on Chinese social media platforms Douyin and Weibo and later posted on Instagram, showed a massive table covered with stacks of money. Employees eagerly counted and grabbed their share of the cash bonus, making the most of the rare opportunity.

According to 8 Days, one employee managed to count 100,000 yuan (approximately S$18,700) within the time limit. Others hurriedly stacked and counted their money, determined to take home as much as possible. A caption on one of the viral videos read, "Henan company is giving out millions for its year-end bonus. Employees can bring home as much cash as they can count."

The unique method of distributing bonuses sparked various reactions online. Some users praised the company's generosity, while others found the approach rather unusual.

One user jokingly remarked, "Same as my company. But instead of money, they give tons of workload." Another added, "This is the kind of paperwork I want, but the company had other plans."
