Sex Declared A Sport in Sweden? Here's The Truth
Internet was abuzz with the reports of Sweden becoming the first country in the world to recognise sex as a sport.
It was widely reported that a six-week tournament will be held in Sweden from June 8. However, the reports have now turned out to be fake, according to NDTV.

The Federation of Sex headed by Dragan Bractic in Sweden approached the National Sports Confederation to become a member but his proposal was rejected, Swedish news outlet Goterborgs-Posten said. In January 2023, he had submitted the application in January.
"It doesn't meet our requirements and I can inform you that this application has been rejected. We have other things to do," Goterborgs-Posten quoted sports federation's chief Bjorn Eriksson as saying.
Bractic runs strip clubs in Sweden and wished to have sex as a sport.
What Media Reports Claimed?
It was reported that the matches will be played for a duration of 45 minutes to 1 hour.
The Championship has attracted 20 individuals from various countries who have submitted their applications. The champions will be chosen based on evaluations from three panels of judges as well as ratings provided by the audience. Each participant has the opportunity to earn a score between 5 and 10 points in each discipline.
The competitors will engage in 16 different areas of expertise, encompassing seduction, oral pleasure, intimate connection, physical presentation, sensual massages, exploration of erogenous zones, adaptability in positions, innovative approaches to intimacy, number of climaxes, and stamina, a report in The Times Of India claimed.
"Just like any other sport, achieving desired results in sex requires training. Therefore, it is only logical for people to start competing in this domain as well," Bratych explained to the media, and highlighted the potential of physical and mental well-being through sexual activity, while emphasizing the importance of training.
