Russia looking at possible Kerry visit
Moscow, March 16: Russia is looking at the possibility of a visit by US Secretary of State John Kerry, an official said.
An official of the Russian foreign affairs ministry on Tuesday said that Moscow was looking at Kerry's possible visit to the country.
Kerry on Tuesday said that he plans to visit Moscow to meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and President Vladimir Putin to discuss issues related to Syria, Xinhua reported.
Kerry did not give a date for the planned visit, but his spokesman John Kirby later told reporters that it would be after next Tuesday, when Kerry returns from a trip to Cuba with President Barack Obama.
Kerry travelled to Moscow in December to bridge gaps over ways to end the Syrian conflict.
