Ex-Nepal PM’s Wife Allegedly Burnt Alive as Protesters Torch Family Home

Rajyalaxmi Chitrakar, the spouse of former Nepalese Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal, tragically passed away on Tuesday. Reports indicate that protesters, primarily from Generation Z, trapped her inside their residence and set it ablaze.

The tragic event unfolded in the Dallu locality of Kathmandu. Ms Chitrakar was quickly taken to Kirtipur Burn Hospital for medical attention. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries during treatment, according to family members.
