Pakistan Election Results 2024: PTI's Imran Khan Delivers Victory Speech With AI Help

Amid criticism directed towards the Election Commission of Pakistan for the delay in the declaration of general election results, a 'victory speech' was released on Saturday by former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

In the speech, it was stated in Imran Khan's AI-enabled voice that the 'London Plan' of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif had failed due to the significant voter turnout on polling day.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Imran Khan wrote, "Chairman Imran Khan's victory speech (AI version) after an unprecedented fightback from the nation that resulted in PTI's landslide victory in General Elections 2024."

In an audio clip of his AI-enabled voice on social media platform X, the former Prime Minister and PTI founder expressed gratitude to the citizens, attributing the victory in the elections to their substantial voter turnout. He emphasized that the participation of the electorate effectively thwarted the so-called 'London Plan' purportedly orchestrated by Nawaz Sharif. Imran Khan further remarked on the electoral landscape, stating that despite trailing in 30 seats, Nawaz Sharif opted to deliver a victory speech, a move criticized as premature.

Expanding on his party's allegations of rigging and electoral malfeasance, Imran Khan asserted that such practices would not be tolerated by Pakistanis and had garnered attention from the international media. Referring to Form 45 data, he indicated the trajectory of winning over 170 National Assembly seats.

In a rallying call to his fellow countrymen, Imran Khan asserted that the significant voter turnout had set a milestone for democracy's resurgence in Pakistan. He confidently projected a two-thirds majority for the PTI in the 2024 elections, highlighting the power of the vote and urging citizens to safeguard it diligently.

Nawaz Sharif seeks allies

According to sources quoted by Dawn News, a meeting was held in Lahore involving Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

This meeting occurred shortly after Nawaz Sharif claimed victory in the general elections and extended an invitation to his allies to form a coalition government. Both the PPP and PML-N were part of the PDM government that assumed power after the ousting of Imran Khan from the prime minister's office in 2022.

Meanwhile, unofficial provisional results reported by Dawn News for 212 out of 266 seats indicate that independent candidates, largely backed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), are leading with 82 seats. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), identified as the single largest party, is trailing with 64 seats, followed by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) with 40 seats.
