Pakistan: Baloch Militants Attack Chinese Convoy In Gwadar
The Balochistan Liberation Army on Sunday attacked a convoy of 23 Chinese engineers in Pakistan's Gwadar. According to local media reports, Pakistani security forces killed two terrorists in a gunfight.

Explosions and gunfire could be heard across the port city of Gwadar, where all the roads remain closed for traffic.
Two Pakistani security personnel were also injured when a convoy of engineers working for a Chinese construction company came under attack on Faqeer Bridge in Gwadar. As per sources, other terrorists fled the spot in an injured condition and an operation is underway to clear the area as gunfight continues.
"I strongly condemn the heinous terror attack on the Chinese workers' convoy in Gwadar. Thankfully, no loss of life happened, but there are reports that the ambush has been repulsed, and the attackers have been killed," Pakistani Senator Sarfraz Bugti posted on X, formerly Twitter.
The government authorities have confirmed the attack on Chinese engineers in Gwadar. The attack on the convoy of Chinese engineers happened at around 9:30 am and an intense gunfight was underway for nearly two hours,
India has protested the CPEC project as it runs through Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), which is part of Jammu and Kashmir and therefore Indian territory. China has claimed the plan had nothing to do with territorial disputes.
Various Baloch militant groups have claimed attacks on projects linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project in the past, with thousands of security personnel deployed to counter threats against Beijing's interests.
