MERS outbreak: Thailand reports its first case
Bangkok, June 19: Thailand has got its first case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), media reported on Friday.
A man has been diagnosed with MERS after he travelled to Thailand from a Middle Eastern country on June 15, Thai Public Health Minister Rajata Rajatanavin said on Thursday.

The patient was in Thailand to receive treatment for heart disease, and was taken to the hospital when he displayed flu-like symptoms.
Thailand would be the 26th country with confirmed MERS syndrome cases since the disease was identified in Saudi Arabia in 2012.
MERS continues to claim lives in South Korea where death toll reached to 24 since its outbreak on May 20.
