In other posts from the final moments of his life, Payne noted that he and Kate had been "waking up at 1 p.m. every day" and revealed that they had chosen Forrest Gump as their Halloween costume.

He also shared a photo with Kate, captioning it "Quality time." The exact timing of the videos and pictures is unclear, as Kate reportedly returned home on October 14, while Payne checked into the hotel alone.
