Israel-Hamas War: 4-Day Truce Begins, 50 Women And Child Hostages To Be Released, Know Details Here

A four-day temporary truce started Friday morning between Israel and Palestinian terror outfit Hamas. Reports qouting Qatar mediators stated, 13 Israeli women and child hostages held by Hamas will be released by Friday afternoon. As per the Qatar Ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari, who made the announcement in Doha, the truce started in Gaza at 7am as per the local time.

Over these 4 days of the truce, more than 50 hostages would be set free by the Hamas and Israeli will also release Palestinians prisoners, Qatar Ministry spokesperson informed. Around 200 trucks carrying food, medical aid and fuel will also enter into Gaza, the news agency AP reported.

Before the ceasefire in northern Gaza, Israeli jets hit more than 300 targets near the Jabalia refugee camp. The director of the Health Ministry in Hamas-ruled Gaza claimed that an Indonesian hospital grappled with relentless bombings, functioning in darkness and housing elderly individuals and children confined to their beds. So far, more than 13,300 Palestinians have lost their lives as a result of Israeli bombardment followed by the land assault.

While on the other hand, 1200 Israelis have too died so far in this brutal war, which has completed near seven-weeks. Both, Israel forces and the Hamas militant group have agreed to pick up from where they have left off.

The BBC quoted the World Food Programme's Middle East spokesperson, Abeer Etefa, stating that the temporary truce is a step forward, and total ceasefire is needed in Gaza to keep the humanity alive.
