His remarks came shortly after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian apologised to neighbouring countries for attacks launched during the war.
In a strong message posted on Truth Social, Trump claimed Iran had already suffered heavy losses and warned that the country could face an even harsher strike.
Trump Mocks Iran, Calls It "Loser Of The Middle East"
Reacting to Tehran's apology to neighbouring nations, Trump mocked Iran's position in the region and suggested it had been forced to back down under pressure from the United States and Israel.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, "Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbors, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore. This promise was only made because of the relentless U.S. and Israeli attack."
The US President also accused Tehran of attempting to dominate the region in the past.
"Iran is no longer the "Bully of the middle east," they are, instead, "The loser of the middle east," and will be for many decades until they surrender or, more likely, completely collapse!", Trump said.
Trump Demands Iran's "Unconditional Surrender"
A day earlier, Trump had issued a strong ultimatum to Tehran, insisting that the only acceptable outcome to end hostilities would be Iran's "unconditional surrender."
He also said that if Iran agreed to step back and allow new leadership to emerge, the United States and its allies would help rebuild the country's struggling economy.
According to Trump, after any surrender by the Islamic Republic, Washington and its partners would work to bring Iran "back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before."
Iran Apologises But Refuses To Surrender
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian recently apologised to neighbouring countries for attacks that occurred during the war. However, he made it clear that Iran would not surrender despite mounting pressure.
Pezeshkian said that an interim leadership council had agreed there would be no more attacks on neighbouring countries unless those nations initiated strikes against Iran.
However, he firmly rejected the idea of surrender, saying, "The enemies must take their wish for the surrender of the Iranian people to their graves."
More Attacks Feared As War Intensifies
Meanwhile, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent warned that the conflict could escalate further. In a television interview on Friday, he said the "biggest bombing campaign" of the war had yet to occur.
So far, the United States and Israel have carried out multiple strikes targeting Iran's military infrastructure, leadership figures and nuclear facilities. The objectives of the war have evolved over time, with Washington at various points suggesting goals ranging from weakening Iran's capabilities to encouraging a leadership change within the country.
The ongoing fighting has already caused heavy casualties. Officials report that at least 1,230 people have been killed in Iran, more than 200 in Lebanon, and 11 in Israel. In addition, six US troops have also lost their lives.
Blasts Reported In Dubai
Amid rising regional tensions, several blasts were reported in Dubai on Saturday morning. Authorities confirmed that air defence systems were activated following the alerts.
Passengers at Dubai International Airport, the busiest airport for international travel, were temporarily moved into train tunnels across the airport complex as a precaution after warning alarms were triggered.
