Did Sundar Pichai Praise Trump's McDonald's Visit? Here's The Truth...
In a surprising turn of events, former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump recently stated that Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, called him to commend his visit to a McDonald's in Pennsylvania.
This revelation came during his appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast, where Trump recounted the conversation, as reported by Hindustan Times.

"I visited McDonald's last week, and I actually got a call from Sundar Pichai," Trump revealed. "He said, 'This is the biggest thing we've had in years.'" The former president went on to describe Pichai as a "great guy" and quoted him as saying, "This McDonald's thing, I want to tell you, it's one of the biggest things we've ever had on Google. It just hit."
However, this praise comes on the heels of Trump's earlier claims that Google had been manipulating search results to downplay his presence online. He had previously reached out to Pichai to express his grievances regarding the issue, as reported by Hindustan Times.
Why Did Trump Visit McDonald's?
Trump's visit to the fast-food giant was strategically timed as part of his campaign efforts to undermine Vice President Kamala Harris. During his time at McDonald's, Trump donned an apron and worked at the fry station, serving customers. He humorously remarked that he had now worked "15 minutes more than her," referring to Harris's claims of her own experience working at McDonald's in her youth.
"She lied about McDonald's," Trump asserted. "I've worked here for 15 minutes, which is 15 minutes more than she worked here. Has that proven that she never worked at McDonald's? Well, McDonald's has no information. No, she has no information. She's nobody. The manager said she'd never worked there."
This light-hearted banter illustrates Trump's ongoing strategy to use relatable moments to connect with voters while also taking jabs at his political opponents, as per media reports.
As the 2024 presidential election approaches, Trump's remarks and tactics continue to generate buzz, making him a prominent figure in the political landscape. With his unorthodox campaign methods, including interactions with high-profile CEOs and playful commentary on fellow politicians, Trump remains a central figure in American politics.
