Dictator Without Elections: Trump Attacks Zelensky As Tensions Intensifies Between Two Leaders
US President Trump on Wednesday targeted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over the ongoing Ukraine-Russia war, accusing him of doing a "terrible job".
Trump attacked Zelensky first on social media where he called him "A Dictator without Elections". On his social media page, he wrote, "A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left,"

Later at a press conference held at his Florida residence, the US President said, "Russia wants to do something. They want to stop the barbarianism that's going on over there. Soldiers are being killed by thousands on a weekly basis. Apart from Russian and Ukrainian soldiers, a lot of Koreans have been killed. We want to end it. It's a senseless war. It should have never happened."
The US President's outburst comes a day after Zelensky skipped a crucial negotiation meeting with Russia. The Ukrainian President had claimed that his country would not accept a peace deal that was negotiated on its behalf.
He said, "We have this place at the table at the very beginning, and we are the first who are at this table because the war is in Ukraine," Zelensky added, noting that Ukrainians would never accept a peace deal that was negotiated on their behalf.
"We are thankful for all the support, unity in the U.S. around Ukraine support - even bipartisan support - we are thankful for all of this, but there is no leader in the world that can make a deal with (Russian President Vladimir) Putin without us, about us."
On the other hand, Trump on his social media page wrote, "Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talked the United States of America into spending $350 billion dollars, to go into a war that couldn't be won, that never had to start, but a war that he, without the US and "TRUMP," will never be able to settle."
The post added, "The United States has spent $200 billion dollars more than Europe, and Europe's money is guaranteed, while the United States will get nothing back. Why didn't sleepy Joe Biden demand equalization, in that this war is far more important to Europe than it is to us -- We have a big, beautiful ocean as separation. On top of this, Zelenskyy admits that half of the money we sent him is "MISSING." He refuses to have elections, is very low in Ukrainian polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden "like a fiddle." A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a country left."
