China’s ‘Red Uncle’ Scandal: Man Disguises As Woman, Secretly Films S*x With 1,600 Men
In a bizarre and disturbing case capturing intense public attention, a 38-year-old man from Nanjing, China, identified only by his surname Jiao, has been arrested after authorities discovered he secretly filmed se*ual encounters with over 1000 men while pretending to be a woman.
Jiao disguised himself using wigs, heavy makeup, long skirts, and a feminized voice to deceive men into believing they were meeting a woman for consensual s*x. Though he did not charge money for these encounters, he often accepted small gifts such as fruit and milk, adding an unusual detail to an already shocking story.

Unbeknownst to his guests, Jiao had installed hidden cameras throughout his residence. These devices captured private moments without consent. He later sold the videos online for about 150 yuan or approximately 21 US dollars per clip, profiting from the exploitation of unaware victims.
The operation came to light when some men recognized themselves in explicit clips that had been leaked and were circulating widely on Chinese social media platforms, especially Weibo. Several victims suffered emotional distress and social humiliation after being identified by friends and family.
Jiao has been detained by police on charges of disseminating obscene material, a serious criminal offense under Chinese law. A full investigation is ongoing to determine the scale of the operation and potential legal consequences.
Health officials have raised concerns due to the large number of sexual encounters involved. They are urging anyone who suspects they were involved to seek medical testing and counseling as a precaution.
The incident has triggered widespread outrage and discussion about consent, privacy, and how digital tools are increasingly being used to violate personal boundaries. It stands as a sobering example of how technology can be weaponized against vulnerable individuals in the most intimate settings.
