Zareen Khan Lands In Trouble, Kolkata Court Issues Arrest Warrant
An arrest warrant against Bollywood actress Zareen Khan has been issued by a Kolkata Court over alleged cheating case of not performing at a Durga Puja event. The organiser of the event registered a case in 2016.

Earlier in 2016, the Bollywood actress was booked for alleged fraud case as she failed to perform at a Durga Puja event in Kolkata following which the organiser of the event registered a case against the actress.
However, the actress never appeared before the court nor appealed for a bail. Hence the investigating officer in the case issued an arrest warrant.
Meanwhile, Zareen Khan denied the allegations and said she had no clue about the matter and that she has to discuss the issue with her lawyer.
"I'm sure there is no truth to this. I'm surprised too and am checking with my lawyer. Only then will I be able to give you some clarity. In the meantime, you can speak to my PR," she was quoted saying.
As per the police officials, one of the organisers of the show filed a written complaint of cheating against Khan and her manager and the duo were asked to appear for questioning.
Khan who appeared for interrogation claimed that she was misguided by the organizers related to flight tickets and other accommodation. She further accused by saying that the organizers told her that prominent ministers, including West Bengal CM would attend the function.
Later when her team found out that it was a small scale event in north Kolkata, Khan decided to skip the show. Khan has also filed a case against the organisers of the show at a local court, according to the police.
