YSRCP MP Vijaysai Reddy Faces ED Inquiry Over Allegations in Kakinada Port Stake Transfer Case
YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP Vijaysai Reddy recently faced questioning by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding allegations of acquiring stakes in Kakinada Seaports Ltd and Kakinada SEZ Ltd. The case involves accusations of cheating, criminal intimidation, and conspiracy to secure these stakes at a reduced price for Aurobindo Realty, now known as Auro Infra.

The Andhra Pradesh CID crime investigation department initiated a case against Vijaysai Reddy, Y Vikranth Reddy, and others. They are accused of using coercive tactics to obtain stakes in Kakinada Seaport and Kakinada SEZ. Vijaysai Reddy has refuted these allegations.
Allegations and Denial
Following the filing of the FIR, Vijaysai Reddy took to social media platform X to express his views. He claimed that the charges against him were a deliberate attempt by the Andhra Pradesh Government, led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, to distract from pressing state issues.
After his session with the ED, Reddy spoke to Videos about the inquiry. He mentioned that the agency asked him 25 questions during their investigation. He asserted that he clarified his position with the ED, stating he had no ties with KV Rao, the complainant in this case.
Investigation Details
Reddy expressed confidence that he would not be called for further questioning by the ED concerning this matter. His statements suggest a belief in his innocence and a hope for resolution without additional summons.
The case continues to unfold as authorities delve deeper into the allegations. The involvement of prominent political figures adds complexity to the investigation, drawing significant public attention.
