A woman from Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, has accused BJP MLA Hansraj of harassment and threats against her family. The legislator has denied these claims, suggesting they aim to incite "communal tension." A video of the woman making these allegations has circulated on social media. She previously filed an FIR against Hansraj last year, accusing him of sending inappropriate messages and demanding explicit photos.

The woman claimed in the video that some individuals tried to defame her by alleging she accepted money to accuse Churah MLA Hansraj. She also mentioned being pressured to retract her complaint. "If any harm is done to my family members, I will not spare the MLA," she stated tearfully in the video.

Allegations Against BJP Leader

The woman further alleged that the BJP leader's wife threatened that Hansraj would "settle scores" once he becomes a minister. She expressed that the MLA "has ruined her life" and she feels she has nothing left to lose. Due to a lack of trust in law enforcement and other agencies, she turned to social media, accusing them of taking "no action" and pressuring her to compromise with the MLA.

She also accused a doctor and a junior engineer of misbehaving with her father. Meanwhile, Hansraj, who has been elected as a legislator for three consecutive terms, released a video denying the allegations. He stated that the woman was "like his daughter" and noted that similar accusations were made last year.

MLA's Response and Legal Actions

Hansraj claimed that police had investigated the previous allegations and provided a closure report. He expressed confusion over her motives for repeating these claims. Describing it as "a sinister move to trigger communal violence," Hansraj urged police to investigate thoroughly.

He emphasized the seriousness of the matter and announced plans to file a defamation case to "get to the root of the matter." Hansraj believes these allegations aim to "tarnish his image" as an emerging leader from Chamba and hinder Churah's development.

The situation remains tense as both parties stand firm in their positions. The woman's accusations have sparked significant attention on social media, while Hansraj continues to refute them publicly.
