WhatsApp's New "Remind Me" Feature To Help Users Respond To Messages On Time
WhatsApp is rolling out a new productivity-focused feature called 'Remind Me' to help users manage and respond to unread messages more efficiently. Currently available in the latest beta version for Android (v2.25.21.14), the feature allows users to set reminders for specific messages they may not be able to reply to immediately.
Means, you will now never forget to wish your friends and family on their birthdays and anniversaries.

How It Works
- As per details shared by WABetaInfo, users can activate a reminder by selecting a specific message within a chat
- tapping the three-dot menu, and choosing 'Remind Me'.
- They can then select a time interval-2 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours, or even a custom time and date-
- WhatsApp will send a notification to revisit that message.
- A small bell icon appears on the message to indicate an active reminder.
- Once the set time elapses, WhatsApp will send a notification highlighting the message and chat, making it easier to follow up without scrolling through entire conversations.
Other Features in the Pipeline
WhatsApp is also experimenting with another AI-powered tool called 'Quick Recap', designed to provide summarized overviews of selected chats. Powered by Meta AI, this feature could help users catch up on long conversations quickly without reading every message.
