Viral Video: Russian Tourist Charges Rs 100 Per Selfie In India | Watch
A Russian woman's creative approach to handling an unusual situation in India has taken the internet by storm. In a viral video, she is seen charging Rs 100 per selfie from Indian men who approach her for photos. Tired of constant requests for pictures with foreigners, she devised this unique method to manage the interruptions while adding a humorous twist to the experience.
The video, shared by Instagram user @angelinali777, begins with her playfully imitating the way locals often ask for pictures. "Ma'am, please, one photo? One photo? We're tired of this, so I came up with a solution," she explains, holding up a sign that reads, "1 selfie Rs 100."

Standing on a beach with the sign in hand, the video shows a group of Indian men eagerly gathering around her to take photos. They happily pose beside her, with some even willing to pay for the opportunity. The woman smiles at the camera, proudly displaying the money she has collected from her clever idea.
In her caption, she explained her reasoning behind the move: "And now we're all happy. Indians get their photo with a foreigner, and foreigners aren't tired because they're paid for the selfie. How's this solution?"
The video quickly gained traction online, with many users applauding her ingenuity. One user commented, "Modern problems require modern solutions." Another wrote, "Smart move. Quite annoying when people treat you differently."
Others joined in with humorous remarks. "She found a glitch," one person quipped, while another joked, "Increase the price after looking at the inflation." One comment read, "The other uncles were shocked to learn that clicking pictures with white-skinned girls is not free anymore."
The video not only highlights a relatable challenge faced by many tourists in India but also demonstrates how a bit of creativity and humour can turn an inconvenience into an entertaining and memorable moment.
