UP International Trade Show: A Game-Changer For MSMEs And ODOP, Says Minister Rakesh Sachan

In an exclusive interview with OneIndia, Uttar Pradesh's Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Rakesh Sachan, hailed the UP International Trade Show as a monumental success and a pivotal platform for the state's economic growth.

Minister Sachan emphasised the show's significance, stating, "This is a great platform for MSMEs from across the state under one roof. Our One District One Product (ODOP) initiative and MSME products are all showcased here, providing unparalleled exposure."

The minister highlighted the event's international appeal, noting, "We've seen a tremendous response with 450 representatives from over 70 countries registering for B2B meetings. They are truly benefitting from this exposure, and it's a testament to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath."

Sachan also highlighted the far-reaching impact of the trade show on UP's MSME and ODOP sectors. "This event is giving a significant boost to our products, helping them reach every corner of the world. It's a big opportunity for our handicraft workers and those associated with ODOP. They're not only benefitting financially but also contributing to PM Modi's 'Made in India' commitment," he explained.

The minister emphasised the inclusivity of the event, describing it as a "golden platform" for micro, small, medium and large enterprises to exhibit their products, engage in sales and expand their reach both domestically and internationally.

"This show is a comprehensive showcase of Uttar Pradesh's recognised and unrecognised products, manufacturers and suppliers," Sachan added. "It serves as an ideal platform for Indian and foreign audiences, business visitors and stakeholders associated with our state's development model."
